    ### Purpose of the Collaboration
    A technical collaboration has been established between Melexis, a Belgian-based semiconductor sensor and driver IC developer, and OYMotion, a Chinese robotic system specialist. The goal is to enhance the tactile perception of robotic hands. While precise detection of physical contact in robotics still poses a challenge, this collaboration aims to overcome this limitation by combining magnetic sensing and robotic hand design.

    ### Technical Solution and Responsibilities
    Melexis' Tactaxis technology is a tactile system capable of magnetically sensing three-dimensional force vectors, position, and contact events. By converting mechanical interaction into real-time digital signals, it enables closed-loop control in robotic manipulation.

    • Melexis provides ready-to-use fingertip modules that include sensor elements, signal processing, and interface electronics.
    • OYMotion mechanically integrates these modules into the robotic hand platform, ensuring calibration and system optimization.

    ### Applications and Use Cases
    The system can be used in areas requiring controlled interaction, such as industrial automation, service robots, and prosthetics. It enables adaptive manipulation in environments that require precise gripping, handling of fragile parts, and application of variable force.
