🛠️ Innovative Solutions at AMB 2026
Rodriguez GmbH will showcase its precision bearings, linear technologies, and cobot motion solutions developed for machine tools at the AMB 2026 exhibition, taking place in Stuttgart from September 15-19, 2026. The exhibition will focus on rotary positioning systems, linear motion solutions, and configurable components for industrial automation.
⚙️ Precision Bearings for Rotary Positioning
Machine tools require bearing systems that can maintain rigidity, positioning accuracy, and load capacity even under demanding operating conditions. Rodriguez will introduce its RTB series axial-radial cylindrical roller bearings, designed for rotary tables, tool tables, milling heads, and additional rotary axes.
- These bearings are designed to accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions, while also transmitting tilting moments.
- They support the repeatable positioning and operational accuracy required in precision machining applications.
- The product family has recently been expanded with sizes 650 and 850, making them suitable for larger machine tool systems.
🌟 Bearing Variants for Different Operating Requirements
The RTB series offers various configurations optimized for different operating conditions:
- RTB Standard: Ideal for general rotary positioning tasks.
- RTB-HSA: Designed for applications requiring lower friction torque and higher rotational speeds.
- RTB-AMS: Includes an inductive, contactless measuring system, resistant to industrial environments, and offers different resolution and accuracy levels.
- RTB-ABS: Houses an absolute encoder integrated directly into the bearing assembly. This allows the rotational axis position to be obtained immediately after power-up, without the need for a reference run. This design reduces machine commissioning time and supports integration into machine control systems via multiple communication interfaces.
🤖 Linear Motion for Collaborative Robots
Rodriguez will also exhibit its linear motion system called the MovoTrak Cobot Transfer Unit (CTU), developed to extend the working range of collaborative robots. This solution provides a mobile seventh axis that enables a single cobot to serve multiple workstations within a production system.
- The system is built on two linear units designed to provide rigidity and torque capacity even when the robot arm is fully extended.
- Rodriguez ensures complete assembly with motors, gearboxes, and application-specific configurations to simplify integration into industrial automation systems.
💡 Customized Engineering Solutions
In addition to standard products, Rodriguez also offers customized bearing and linear motion solutions that can be adapted to specific machine designs and application requirements.
Ulrich Schroth, Head of the VAP Division at Rodriguez, stated, "AMB is an important platform for us to meet with users and machine tool manufacturers. We will exhibit our RTB bearings there and discuss specific requirements with customers regarding precision, integration, and operational reliability."
Rodriguez will be located at Hall 6, Stand 6B31 at AMB 2026.
