FANUC is investing $90 million in a new facility in Michigan to expand its robotic manufacturing in North America and meet increasing demand. This 78.04-hectare (840,000 sq ft) facility aims to increase production capacity, improve customer response times, and support the demand for industrial robots in the US market. Additionally, the company is opening the FANUC Academy training center to address labor shortages and train the next generation of experts in automation.

    ### Growth in the Global Robotics Market
The global industrial robotics market is expected to grow from $34 million to $61 million between 2025 and 2030, with a compound annual growth rate of 9.9%. This growth is largely driven by consumer demand for rapid goods production and delivery. Businesses are opting for the Robotics as a Service (RaaS) subscription model to reduce high upfront costs; this model offers installation, update, and maintenance services, thereby increasing business efficiency.

    ### Sustainability and Artificial Intelligence Integration
Robotics technologies help businesses achieve sustainability goals, such as reducing their carbon footprint and saving energy. Robots consume less energy while reducing waste and material usage, offering environmentally friendly solutions through AI-powered performance optimization. AI and machine learning enable robots to collect and analyze big data, enhancing safety and ensuring seamless production.
