    Atlas Copco has introduced a new energy management system that enhances control, integration, and scalability in hybrid temporary power solutions. For construction sites, industrial facilities, and infrastructure projects, effective energy management has become critical to ensure reliable power and reduce fuel consumption and emissions, while combining battery storage, diesel generators, renewable energy, and grid connections.

    🧠 Energy Management from Multiple Sources​


    The new controller, integrated into Atlas Copco's ZBP and ZBC series battery energy storage systems, acts as a central platform managing energy generation, storage, and distribution. Thanks to an updated human-machine interface (HMI), operators can monitor system performance, balance electrical loads, and optimize energy consumption in temporary power setups.

    • Continuously manages power flows between diesel generators, battery energy storage, the electrical grid, and renewable energy sources.
    • Connects with Atlas Copco's Fleetlink telematics platform, enabling remote monitoring and fleet management.

    The latest version of the software includes numerous improvements based on customer feedback. The redesigned interface provides clearer visualization of operational data, allowing users to monitor key system parameters more efficiently.

    • Offers features such as automatic calibration, charge reduction, configurable operating profiles, and integrated troubleshooting guidance.
    • Dynamic screen layouts automatically adapt to the connected system configuration.

    🤝 Greater Compatibility for Modular Power Plants​


    One of the most significant enhancements of the controller is its extended interoperability with third-party generator control systems. In addition to Atlas Copco equipment, it can communicate with controllers from manufacturers such as DSE, CAT, Cummins, and ComAp. This allows existing generator fleets to be integrated into hybrid portable power plants without the need to replace installed assets.

    🌐 Scalable and Remote Energy Management​


    The controller is designed for decentralized energy systems where multiple power sources operate simultaneously. The built-in control intelligence continuously monitors equipment status, battery condition, load demand, and overall system health via an intuitive touchscreen interface.
