🚀 Portable 3D Scanners Expand Metrology Capabilities!

    FARO CREAFORM has introduced its groundbreaking new HandySCAN 3D EVO and MAX Series models in the field of portable metrology. These innovations elevate industrial measurement capabilities to the next level in areas such as quality control, reverse engineering, and non-destructive testing.

    🔍 Portable Metrology for Parts of All Sizes​


    The company has expanded its portfolio by adding two models from the next-generation HandySCAN 3D MAX Series, alongside the HandySCAN EVO and EVO Plus, to the HandySCAN 3D family. These new systems are designed to improve portable metrology workflows for both small, precise components and large industrial assemblies within a single hardware and software environment.

    According to FARO CREAFORM, the systems are calibrated in ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories and validated according to VDI/VDE 2634 standards, supporting traceable dimensional inspection.

    FARO CREAFORM also introduced the HandySCAN EVO and HandySCAN EVO Plus models for routine inspection tasks. These models enhance operator ease of use with integrated live mesh visualization, AI-powered target detection, and real-time scanning feedback.

    The expanded HandySCAN 3D portfolio targets sectors such as aerospace, automotive, heavy equipment, energy, transportation, and industrial manufacturing. Typical applications include dimensional inspection, first article inspection, quality assurance, reverse engineering, maintenance, repair, and non-destructive testing of large components. These portable systems reduce the need to transport parts to stationary coordinate measuring machines.
