## OPSWAT and Emerson Strengthen Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure Operators

OPSWAT and Emerson have announced a global strategic collaboration to expand cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure operators, particularly those in the power and water infrastructure sectors. As part of this collaboration, Emerson will integrate OPSWAT's secure and scalable operational technology (OT) patch management capabilities into its Ovation Automation Platform.

### Importance of the Collaboration

Robert Yeager, president of Emerson's power and water solutions business, stated that cybersecurity solutions specifically developed for OT are critically important, and customers need solutions that will protect their real-time industrial systems. This collaboration strengthens the Ovation Platform with OPSWAT's MetaDefender Endpoint and My OPSWAT Central Management On-Premises solutions, optimizing patch management in industrial systems.

Critical infrastructures operating in the energy and water sectors face increasing cyber threats and regulatory pressure due to unpatched vulnerabilities.
