Phoenix Contact has expanded its Push-X product family by introducing new terminal blocks with a 4 mm² cross-section. This expansion enables tool-free connection for conductor cross-sections ranging from 0.34 mm² to 25 mm², aiming for practical use in various industrial applications.

    ### Easy Connection with Push-X Technology
The new terminal blocks are designed based on Push-X connection technology, which simplifies wiring processes for different conductor types. Key features include:
    • Tool-free connection of solid and flexible conductors
    • Options for compatibility or incompatibility with ferrules (crimped sleeves)
    • Pre-tensioned contact spring for easy insertion

This design reduces both installation time and labor costs in manual and automated wiring processes.

    ### User-Friendly and Safe Design
The terminal blocks feature a feedback system that visually and audibly confirms that the conductor is correctly connected. An orange push button allows for easy release of connected conductors and enables the contact spring to be pre-tensioned for reuse. This significantly reduces the risk of errors.

    ### Technical Specifications
    • Nominal cross-section: 4 mm²
    • Suitable conductor cross-section range: 0.34 - 25 mm²
    • Nominal current: 32 A
    • Nominal voltage: 500 V

    ### Industrial Application and Efficiency
The Push-X system enables fast and tool-free connections for different conductor sizes, shortening installation time and ensuring consistent wiring quality. This provides significant advantages for automation-based production environments and large panel building operations.

    ### The Future of Connection Technologies
The expansion of Push-X technology is part of ongoing developments aimed at simplifying electrical installation processes while maintaining safety and reliability. As industrial systems become more complex, fast and error-free connection solutions will become even more prominent in the future.
