## Maxon Showcases Innovative Drive Technologies at Hannover Messe 2026
Maxon unveiled its updated portfolio of drive systems, robotic solutions, and industrial electronics at Hannover Messe 2026. The event provided a significant platform for demonstrating technological advancements and applications for industrial and automated environments.
### Robotic Solutions and Drive Systems
Maxon presented robotic solutions based on High Efficiency Joints (HEJ). These systems are developed for humanoid robots and applications operating in unstructured environments. The HEJ 90 and the more compact HEJ 70 models represent an evolution towards modular and space-saving designs.
Electric motors are integrated with gearboxes and sensors. The EC frameless DT 50 M motor allows for easy integration by separating the stator and rotor, while the ECX PRIME 16L model is a long version of the brushless ironless motor optimized for high efficiency and compactness.
### Gearboxes and Industrial Solutions
The GSW series strain wave gearboxes provide precise and efficient power transmission with high torque. At Hannover Messe, the GSW 20 model was exhibited alongside ECX PRIME drives.
For industrial applications, the IDX series offers plug-and-play solutions for areas such as intralogistics and autonomous systems. The IDX 70 Safe Control features SIL3 / PL e Category 3 functional safety integration.
### Electronics and System Integration
The electronics portfolio includes controllers with Safe Torque Off functions such as the EPOS4 Compact 60/20 STO, and compact solutions like ESCON2 Nano and ESCON2 Micro. The MiniMACS6 multi-axis controller with a PROFINET interface enables flexible control of complex systems.
Additionally, the maxon MIND predictive maintenance solution uses motor data for operational diagnostics and performance monitoring.
### Industrial Collaborations and Applications
With its subsidiary Parvalux, maxon offers integrated solutions for applications such as railway systems and medical equipment. The integration of Maxon and Parvalux products demonstrates modular system architectures adapted to various usage scenarios.
### Live Demonstrations and Exhibition Information
At the booth, live demonstrations of drive systems in different application scenarios are being conducted, highlighting integration capabilities, performance, and system reliability.
Maxon is presenting its solutions and discussing sectoral applications with technical teams at Hannover Messe 2026, from April 20-24, in Hall 13, Booth C51.
