Intel Corporation and Outsight, a world leader in 3D Spatial Intelligence, announced a strategic collaboration to accelerate enterprise-scale physical AI solutions for real-time people and object flow monitoring. Outsight's Shift platform, integrated with Intel's AMX-enabled Xeon 6 SoC processor in a Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Edge environment, delivers advanced physical AI capabilities at the edge of companies' networks.

    ### A New Era in Enterprise Infrastructure with Physical AI
Real-time, privacy-preserving human, robot, and vehicle movement monitoring solutions are offered for operators of airports, train stations, industrial facilities, smart cities, and large venues. Data from 3D LiDAR sensors and other sources is processed by Outsight's software to create 3D digital twins of physical movements. These twins allow users to monitor, analyze, and optimize their environments.

    • CPU-based 3D AI inference on Xeon 6 SoC without requiring a GPU
    • Integrated with Google Distributed Cloud Edge, offering centralized management and security advantages

    ### Advanced Spatial Intelligence's Contribution to Robotics and Operations
In complex environments such as factories, warehouses, or airports, mobile robots have perception limitations. Thanks to Outsight's motional digital twins, the location of people, vehicles, and objects throughout the entire facility is continuously monitored, and unique anonymous identities are assigned. This allows every robot to "see" and understand the overall situation on site in real-time.

    • Seamless individual tracking: Long-range localization overcoming line-of-sight obstructions
    • Situational awareness: Integration of environmental data outside the robots' field of view
    • Actionable insights and predictions: Future-oriented operational decision support with scalable analytics

    ### Live Demo at Google Cloud Next 2026
Intel and Outsight will showcase their integrated physical AI platform live at the Google Cloud Next event, held from April 22-24, 2026, at the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Attendees will experience the processing of millions of 3D data points per second, and real-time human and object detection and tracking with anonymous and privacy-preserved sensor data.

    ### Expert Opinions
Outsight President Raul Bravo stated that this collaboration leads the way in the widespread adoption of physical AI in critical infrastructures. Bhupesh Agrawal from Intel emphasized that this solution offers scalable and cost-effective real-time 3D AI inference for enterprise structures.
