Hello everyone,
I’m joining from Chicago and building Automation Controls Toolbox, a browser-based set of practical controls-engineering tools. My work focuses on PLC data interpretation, electrical calculations, 4–20 mA signal checks, PLC scan behavior, and commissioning and troubleshooting workflows.
I joined to learn which assumptions and edge cases matter most to engineers and technicians in real projects, and to contribute complete technical answers where I can. I’ll keep any future product-specific material in the appropriate product-review section and disclose my affiliation.
I’m especially interested in DINT and Modbus byte and word interpretation, analog scaling, phase-current assumptions, and field checks that are still being passed around as opaque spreadsheets. Looking forward to the discussions here.
