Delta, a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, has been honored with the 2026 BIG SEE Product Design Award for its D-Bot series of collaborative robots. This prestigious award once again confirms Delta's design philosophy, which is focused on innovation and sustainability.

✨ Where Innovation and Design Meet​

Delta demonstrates its commitment to innovation by allocating over 8% of its annual revenue to R&D. Michael Mayer-Rosa, Senior Director of the company's Industrial Automation Business Group, stated that this award validates their high standards in combining industrial robotics with practical, safe, and efficient design. He added that they are confident Delta D-Bot robots will meet customers' demanding needs with industry-leading safety, efficiency, and practicality features.

⚙️ Flexibility and Integration​

Introduced in spring 2024, the Delta D-Bot series consists of six flexible models with six axes, payloads up to 30 kg, and reaches up to 1,800 mm. Compatibility with protocols such as OPC UA, PROFINET, EtherCAT, and Modbus TCP ensures seamless integration into existing industrial automation systems.

Collaborative robots are designed to interact with humans in manufacturing environments. Delta's innovative "Reflex Safety" technology detects contact in real-time, instantly stopping robot movement. This feature helps prevent accidents and protects both personnel and equipment. Advanced sensing technologies and collision detection capabilities maximize safety.

Furthermore, the Delta D-Bot series complies with IP66 protection standards and supports advanced safety protocols for operation in harsh industrial environments. Its robust design increases resistance to dust and contamination, while also facilitating cleaning and maintenance.

🚚 Flexible Automation for Manufacturing and Logistics​

When combined with Delta's mobile robot platform (MAR – Mobile Autonomous Robot), the Delta D-Bot Collaborative Robot forms the hybrid mobile robotic solution called "Delta Dynamic Duo." This 2-in-1 system automates flexible handling and manipulation tasks such as palletizing or pick-and-place in manufacturing and logistics environments.

The Delta D-Bot series has been developed for rapid deployment to support various applications, including complex component assembly, material handling, and heavy-duty palletizing. These collaborative robots combine high precision with efficient automation, helping manufacturers increase productivity and operational flexibility.
