Good day to all.
Hello everyone. The Walter HMC 500 WWM model machine has gone into error. According to the error code, the C-axis encoder was said to be faulty. The technical service colleague took the motor and encoder and left. After a while, he returned the motor to us, saying he had installed a new encoder and adjusted it with the motor. We connected the motor. When we try to home the C-axis, it immediately goes into error. When we try to drive it in manual mode, for example, if we want to drive it in the + direction, it turns in the - direction, and if we want to drive it in the - direction, it turns in the + direction, and immediately goes into error.
Attached are the motor label, encoder label, drive label, machine model, and all alarms it gives.
The technical service colleague came and said something about subtracting something from the value the encoder sees and entering it into a parameter, but I didn't understand.
I am also an electronics repairman, but this has not happened to me before.
I researched a lot. I tried to connect with a PC. If there is a socket on the drive that looks like HDMI but isn't HDMI, I have shared its pinout in the attachment. If I connect RS232 directly to this pinout with a USB converter, can I establish a connection? Or can one of you establish a connection or call me to help me perform the operation?
The encoder needs to be introduced/registered.
