Smart Manufacturing Solutions from NEXCOM: The Future Exhibited at ISA Automation Summit!

NEXCOM Group showcased its smart manufacturing and industrial networking product ecosystem at the ISA Automation Summit & Expo 2026 (Booth 402) in Florida on September 28-29. The company introduced an integrated technical architecture encompassing data acquisition, AI robot control, and operational technology cybersecurity. These solutions target the automated manufacturing and process control industries.

Data Acquisition and Edge Computing Infrastructure

    • nPAC 2000: A programmable automation controller that combines logic control mechanisms and gateway communications, facilitating machine-to-machine communication.
    • nDAS 6000 series: Establishes secure connections between various industrial protocols and cloud storage services using a daisy-chain network topology and hardware bypass functions for remote data acquisition.
    • nHMI-10M: Offers multilingual process control, laying the foundation for digital supply chain visibility and automated manufacturing.

Robot Control and Functional Safety Standards

    • MARS400 T10-05 robot controller: Provides up to 2,070 teraflops of AI inference computing power using the NVIDIA Jetson T5000 System-on-Module, supporting real-time motion control algorithms without the need for cloud latency.
    • ESC 211 safety controller: Ensures operational safety in autonomous robotic systems using the Failsafe over EtherCAT protocol. This integration enables robotic platforms to comply with Safety Integrity Level 3 and Performance Level e functional safety parameters in accordance with the ISO 10218-1:2025 standard.

Operational Technology Cybersecurity and Deterministic Networking

    • ISA 140 security gateway: Provides micro-segmentation in information technology and operational technology environments, ensuring compliance with ISA/IEC 62443 cybersecurity frameworks.
    • ISA 142 switch: Minimizes data transmission latency using Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) protocols and supports deterministic communication for synchronized robotic motion control.
    • ISA 120 gateway: Protects critical factory equipment by implementing a Zero Trust architecture and integrates distributed assets into a secure automation network.

    AI Platform Integration

iAT3000 platform: Acts as a central intelligent hub, interconnecting programmable logic controllers from multiple vendors, monitoring hardware health, and collecting process data. Supported by the NexVIC Edge and NexVIC Community management suites, this platform allows engineers to customize automation workflows and integrate AI diagnostics. By incorporating eSAF cybersecurity protocols, the system transforms factory operations from passive monitoring to data-driven, intelligent actions.

    Competitive Advantages

NEXCOM Group's hardware architectures are on par with industry leaders such as Advantech, Beckhoff Automation, and Siemens in terms of performance. NEXCOM architectures directly integrate high-density graphics processing unit acceleration with deterministic Failsafe over EtherCAT protocols, enabling machine builders to combine real-time multi-axis motion control with advanced computer vision models in a single decentralized hardware node.
