Siemens has introduced LOGO! 9, the latest version of its compact logic controller LOGO! series, designed for small-scale automation tasks. This innovation marks the first major update to the LOGO! platform in 11 years. LOGO! 9 offers significant improvements over previous models with its user-friendly interface, high processing capacity, and advanced security measures.

### Advanced Hardware and Software
Thanks to its expanded I/O capacity, LOGO! 9 can perform complex automation tasks that previously required multiple devices, all within a single system. The new analog module enhances the accuracy of sensor data in areas such as environmental monitoring, process control, and building management. The integrated color touchscreen allows users to easily view system status and diagnostic information, while models with larger screens provide real-time and secure machine monitoring.
The new controller is programmed with LOGO! Soft Comfort V9 software. The software offers easy installation via USB and continues to work on projects compatible with previous LOGO! versions. It can also be used on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. The new user management system simplifies the management of access rights for different user roles.
### Security and Environmental Approach
LOGO! 9 is protected against unauthorized access and tampering through secure boot and secure communication protocols. Furthermore, firmware updates for easy maintenance and lifecycle management can be performed via LOGO! Soft Comfort. The device's IP address is preserved even when reset to factory settings, thus reducing configuration time.
Siemens also supports environmental and efficiency goals with LOGO! 9, and the device carries the EcoTech label. The LOGO! family combines advanced features such as user interaction, data processing, and cybersecurity with its compact design, offering a powerful solution for small automation applications.
The new LOGO! 9 controllers will be available on the market starting April 1, 2026.
