PULS is expanding its hardware portfolio to directly support sensor and actuator integration in industrial automation architectures. The company has launched new 100-watt and 200-watt field-mount power supplies designed for production environments outside traditional control cabinets.

⚡ Decentralized Power Distribution and Robust Protection​


Joining the existing FIEPOS series, these single-phase units allow system engineers to distribute continuous direct current power directly to field-level sensors and actuators. With IP65 and IP67 protection ratings, these modules demonstrate resistance to dust and high-pressure water in harsh production environments. Installing power supplies physically closer to the load eliminates the need for long-distance cabling, reducing the space required for centralized electrical cabinets. This decentralized architectural approach simplifies the integration of distributed input/output devices and smaller control ecosystems, directly supporting smart manufacturing and material handling operations.

⚙️ Technical Specifications and IO-Link Diagnostics​


This hardware portfolio offers direct 24-volt DC outputs and includes configurations compliant with National Electrical Code (NEC) Class 2 standards, including dual-output variations. Operating with energy conversion efficiencies of up to 95.1 percent, these power units minimize thermal dissipation, offering an estimated operating life of up to 200,000 hours under industrial mechanical stress. Additionally, certain configurations feature integrated IO-Link communication interfaces. This standard industrial protocol allows programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to receive diagnostic data and monitor remote hardware health, establishing a foundation for predictive maintenance frameworks.
