## OPSWAT and Emerson Strengthen Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure Operators

OPSWAT and Emerson have announced a global strategic collaboration to expand cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure operators, particularly those in the power and water infrastructure sectors. As part of this collaboration, Emerson will integrate OPSWAT's secure and scalable operational technology (OT) patch management capabilities into its Ovation Automation Platform.

### Significance of the Collaboration

Robert Yeager, president of Emerson's power and water solutions business, stated that cybersecurity solutions specifically developed for OT are critically important and that customers need solutions that will protect their real-time industrial systems. This collaboration optimizes patch management in industrial systems by enhancing the Ovation Platform with OPSWAT's MetaDefender Endpoint and My OPSWAT Central Management On-Premises solutions.
