OPSWAT and Emerson Strengthen Cybersecurity Collaboration for Critical Infrastructures

OPSWAT and Emerson announced a global strategic partnership to enhance cybersecurity for critical infrastructure operators. Under this agreement, OPSWAT's industry-proven cybersecurity technologies will be offered to Emerson's power and water sector customers. As the first step of the collaboration, OPSWAT's scalable and secure operational technology (OT) patch management solution will be integrated into Emerson's Ovation Automation Platform.

### Importance of the Collaboration
The Ovation Platform will be protected by OPSWAT's MetaDefender Endpoint and My OPSWAT Central Management On-Premises solutions. These solutions will be provided as part of Emerson's specially developed cybersecurity solution package for power and water plants.

Robert Yeager, President of Emerson Power & Water Solutions, emphasized that their customers require cybersecurity solutions specifically designed for OT environments. Yeager stated that this collaboration strengthens a modern patch management approach for protecting critical, real-time industrial systems.

Critical infrastructure operators, such as those in power generation and water waste management, face increasing risks due to cyber threats, regulatory pressures, and unpatched vulnerabilities. OPSWAT's patch management solution for the Ovation platform offers a modernized, comprehensive, and secure method tailored to the complexities of industrial environments.
