Record Sales for LAPP: Global Growth Strategy Bears Fruit

LAPP Group, a global leader in integrated solutions for cable and connectivity technologies, achieved significant success in the 2026 fiscal year (October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026), with preliminary data showing sales exceeding 2.3 billion Euros (fiscal year 2025: 1.93 billion Euros). These record sales were driven by strong organic growth, as well as one-off factors such as copper prices and acquisitions.

Asia-Pacific and Americas Regions Lead Growth

The Asia-Pacific and Americas regions made strong contributions to the overall sales growth of the Stuttgart-based connectivity solutions specialist. The EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa) remained resilient despite challenging market conditions and continued to account for the majority of LAPP's global sales. Matthias Lapp, CEO of LAPP Group, stated, "We are benefiting from our local presence in the growth markets of Asia and the Americas. In Europe, especially in Germany, the situation remains challenging. Although order intake in recent months makes me more optimistic, it is still too early for euphoria, especially since we have to consider Germany in the context of international competition."

Strong Growth in Key Sectors and Strategic Acquisitions

LAPP once again recorded strong growth in key sectors such as intralogistics, e-mobility, and industrial automation. In addition to volume increases, significant rises in copper prices and acquisitions also contributed to the financial results. At the beginning of 2026, LAPP fully acquired its former Southeast Asian joint venture, beginning operations in countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam through its own locations.

Looking to the Future with Confidence: Profitability-Focused Growth

The family-owned company enters the 2027 fiscal year with confidence but also with due caution. Matthias Lapp said, "Geopolitical uncertainties persist, but we have proven that we can act and seize opportunities even under challenging conditions." Lapp plans to focus particularly on profitability: "In recent years, we have invested heavily in production capacity, logistics networks, and digitalization. The priority now is to utilize these new capacities. We want to grow profitably to remain a strong, innovative partner for our customers in the long term."

As of September 30, 2026, the LAPP Group had approximately 6,300 employees worldwide.
