Retail stores and aisles require equipment that can maneuver in narrow spaces without compromising load capacity. Operations such as order picking and shelf replenishment demand highly maneuverable vehicles for short-distance transport. Jungheinrich's AntOn series meets these needs by providing economical and easy-to-use machines for such occasional uses.

💪 Compact Design, High Performance​

The new PSM 1.2 has a load capacity of up to 1.2 tons. Its compact structure provides ease at every stage, from product acceptance to navigating narrow sales aisle corridors. The lifting system is optimized for low-level storage between 2.50 and 3.50 meters. The special mast geometry offers reliable racking operations while also providing better kinematic comfort for the operator.

The vehicle's entire drive system is powered by a lithium-ion battery, which offers fast charging cycles, long lifespan, and minimal maintenance. Jungheinrich Product Manager Kilyan Denuault states that this development aligns with the group's 2030+ strategy and aims to make lithium-ion technology accessible to a wider audience. The manufacturer uses a hybrid model for the distribution of this series, combining its direct sales network with an indirect sales channel consisting of intralogistics dealers.

In the entry-level pedestrian stacker market, the Jungheinrich PSM 1.2 competes with models such as the Toyota BT Tyro SHE100 and the Linde ML10. These competitors also offer lithium-ion batteries for narrow spaces and the ability to charge from standard outlets. The integration of lithium-ion technology into these light lifting capacities of 1.0 to 1.2 tons eliminates the need for ventilated charging rooms required by traditional lead-acid batteries, providing a critical operational advantage for supermarket warehouses and small storage facilities.
