✨ High-Speed Converting Technology Featured at PACK EXPO

Unitech, a leading company in packaging automation, introduced its high-speed packaging converting technology specifically designed for industrial stretch film manufacturers and distributors at PACK EXPO 2026.

⚙️ Model T012 Automatic Pre-Stretched Film Rewinder: Detailed Review

Unitech's Model T012 Automatic Pre-Stretched Film Rewinder is an advanced converting system that processes master rolls of stretch film, passing them through servo-controlled rollers to achieve variable pre-stretch ratios. This machine automatically folds the edges of the film to reinforce it against tearing, and then rewinds it into smaller rolls for manual stretch wrapping of pallets.

    💰 Cost and Material Savings

Kristian Hulgard, North American Sales Director for MotionTech, stated that by using this rewinder instead of manual labor, stretch film distributors achieve more consistent quality and significant savings in both money and materials. Unlike manual wrapping, the Model T012 eliminates inconsistencies caused by operator fatigue, ensuring optimal material usage for every pallet.

📈 Increased Efficiency and Product Quality

Rafael Minassian, Business Development Manager at MotionTech, emphasized that an operator manually wrapping pallets for eight hours cannot maintain the same force and consistency, which leads to excessive material usage. The Model T012 allows film converters to increase material yield, boost production capacity, and offer higher quality rolls to end-users.

🇺🇸 Expansion in the US Market and Future Plans

MotionTech, owner of Unitech, aims to support its North American portfolio by establishing a regional operational center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Hulgard noted that major trends such as labor shortages and tariffs are driving automation, and MotionTech plans to undertake local manufacturing in the US in the near future. This expansion is part of the company's strategy to make automation technologies more accessible and respond to market demands.
