## Festo and CODI Introduce Innovative Palletizing Solution at MODEX 2026
At MODEX 2026, Festo and CODI unveiled the FlexStack Pro palletizing platform, designed to simplify and reduce the cost of automating manual material handling operations.
### Advantages of FlexStack Pro
FlexStack Pro's gantry-type structure occupies minimal space, making it easy to integrate automation into existing facilities. This system can palletize and depalletize 20 to 50 kg boxes at a rate of 4 to 10 units per minute. Depending on local labor costs, the return on investment (ROI) can be achieved within one year.
Gantry robots take up little space as they move directly above the work area, and their maintenance costs are lower compared to cobots or 4-6 axis industrial robots.

FlexStack Pro is built on Festo's new FPaKit system. FPaKit is a pre-configured and tested multi-axis material handling system that enables a palletizer-in-a-box solution. CODI and other manufacturers design the cell layout, construct the frame, and install the system using this kit.

FlexStack Pro uses Festo's browser-based palletizing software. Thanks to its user-friendly interface, package patterns are entered directly on the screen and can be reviewed with a 3D pallet view before production begins.

CODI offers Festo's AX Motion Insights, an AI-powered predictive analytics solution. This system collects wear data from electrical and pneumatic components, enabling maintenance teams to perform preventive interventions without needing specialized data expertise.
