Acceed's Rugged NRU-160-FT Edge AI System for Harsh Environments

    Acceed has launched a new embedded edge AI computer called the NRU-160-FT, designed to be resistant to dust, high temperatures, and vibration. This system is ideal for applications in areas such as robotics, automation, transportation, and construction machinery, where data processing needs to be performed directly at the point of action.

    ### High-Performance AI Processing
    • The NRU-160-FT is powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin modules and supports Orin NX and Orin Nano options.
    • It offers a maximum AI processing power of 100 INT8 TOPS.
    • It can process 18 Full HD video streams simultaneously.
    • Low power consumption of approximately 25 W is achieved.
    • Thanks to CUDA and Tensor cores, neural network models run on the device in real-time.

    ### High Reliability with Fanless Cooling Design
    • Heat is dissipated by being transferred through the device casing without the need for ventilation.
    • Eliminates the need for fans and filters.
    • Reduces maintenance requirements.
    • Ensures stable operation in enclosed or sealed environments.
    • The device operates without performance loss between –25°C and +70°C in standard operating mode.

    • Offers support for up to six GMSL2 cameras for automotive and vision systems.
    • Multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports can power IP cameras with PoE support.
    • M12 connectors are available for robust industrial connectivity.
    • Enables rapid application deployment thanks to pre-loaded drivers for commonly used image sensors.

    ### Power Management and Mobility
    • Supports a wide input voltage range from 8 to 35 V, making it suitable for vehicle-based applications.
    • Offers automatic power on/off control with vehicle ignition.
    • CAN-FD, RS-232, mini-PCIe, and M.2 expansion interfaces for 5G communication modules are supported.

    ### Compact Design and Flexible Installation
    • The compact design, with dimensions of 199×136×49 mm, allows for use in confined spaces.
    • Can be mounted in sealed enclosures for heat dissipation to the external surface.
