## Acceed's NRU-160-FT Edge AI System for Harsh Industrial Environments
Acceed has introduced the NRU-160-FT, an edge AI platform designed to withstand harsh conditions such as dust, heat, and vibration. This system is specifically developed for applications where real-time data processing is essential in the field, such as robotics, automation, transportation, and construction machinery.
### High-Performance AI Processing Power
The NRU-160-FT operates on NVIDIA Jetson Orin modules, supporting both Orin NX and Orin Nano variants. Offering 100 INT8 TOPS of processing power, this platform can process 18 Full HD video streams simultaneously while maintaining low power consumption (approximately 25 W). Thanks to its CUDA and Tensor cores, artificial neural network models can be run in real-time directly on the device.
### Fanless Thermal Design
One of the system's key features is its conduction-based cooling architecture, which dissipates heat through the external casing, eliminating the need for fans and filters. This reduces maintenance requirements and ensures stable operation even in enclosed or sealed environments. The device can operate without compromising performance between -25°C and +70°C.
### Industrial Connectivity and Sensor Integration
The NRU-160-FT is designed for camera and sensor integration in mobile and industrial applications. Features include:
- Support for up to six GMSL2 cameras (for automotive and imaging systems)
- Multiple Gigabit Ethernet connections, with PoE support for IP cameras
- Robust M12 connectors
Additionally, with common image sensor drivers pre-installed, quick setup is possible in areas such as driver assistance systems, security monitoring, and robotic navigation.
### Power Management and Mobile Applications
Thanks to its wide 8-35 V input voltage, the system is suitable for vehicle-based applications. It offers automatic power-on/off control via vehicle ignition. Furthermore, with CAN-FD, RS-232, mini-PCIe, and M.2 expansion slots, it is ready for 5G communication module integration.
### Compact Design and Flexible Installation
The compact controller, measuring 199 × 136 × 49 mm, can be easily placed in confined spaces. Its design allows for heat dissipation from the external surface even within sealed enclosures. These features enable the device to be used in various fields such as construction, agricultural machinery, autonomous vehicles, logistics systems, and roadside and infrastructure monitoring.
