ABB has globally introduced its new generation permanent magnet (PM) motor series with a water-jacket cooling system. This series has been developed to meet the increasing demands of various industries seeking compact, high-efficiency, and low-noise solutions. Especially suitable for marine applications in areas such as propulsion systems, thrusters, and shaft generators, these motors work in harmony with ABB frequency converter drives, providing optimized system configurations and flexible integration.

### Application Areas

It can also be used in industrial variable speed drives in both geared and direct drive configurations.
