Calderys Inaugurates New Advanced Technology Manufacturing Facility in Odisha

Calderys marked a significant milestone with the official inauguration of its next-generation manufacturing facility in the state of Odisha, India. The ceremony, attended by Mohan Charan Majhi and Sampad Chandra Swain, demonstrated the company's growth strategy in India.

### Facility Status and Production Lines

• The facility successfully commenced operations by activating its first two production lines.
• The acidic monolithic line began commercial production in May 2025, and the basic monolithic monolithic line in November 2025.
• Currently, both lines are providing high-performance refractory solutions to customers across India.
• Additional lines, including the acidic and basic brick production line, steel casting fluids, and tap-hole clay, are being prepared for commissioning in 2026.

Michel Cornelissen, President and CEO of Calderys, stated that this new facility plays a critical role in the company's global growth strategy. He emphasized that India is a strategic market, and the investment reflects the company's commitment to strengthening local partnerships and expanding its market presence in the region.
