Optris Expands CTi Series for Glass and Plastic Production

Optris GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its successful CTi infrared pyrometer family by introducing three new models: CTi G5, CTi P3, and CTi P7.

These new models offer specialized solutions for industrial processes such as glass manufacturing and thin-film plastic production. With optimized spectral ranges, fast response times, and multiple interface options including integrated USB, these pyrometers provide precise and reliable non-contact temperature measurement in various applications.

### CTi G5: Precise Temperature Measurement for Glass Manufacturing

• Measurement range: 50 °C to 1650 °C (depending on model version)

• Stainless steel compact sensing head, resistant to ambient temperatures up to 85 °C

### CTi P3 and CTi P7: Optimized for Thin Plastic Film Measurements

• CTi P3 spectral range: 3.43 µm
• CTi P3 temperature measurement range: 35 °C - 600 °C
• CTi P3 response time: only 15 ms, ideal for high-speed film production lines
• CTi P7 spectral range: 7.9 µm, for thin films such as PET, PVC, and polyimide
• CTi P7 temperature measurement range: 0 °C - 710 °C
• Typical NETD: 45 mK
• Durable in industrial environments with IP65 protection class
• Adjustable emissivity, advanced signal processing, and flexible communication interfaces
