## IP67 Electronic Fuse for 24 VDC Field Applications
Turck has introduced the TBIF series, which consists of electronic fuses with IP67 protection and IO-Link connectivity, offering selective load protection on the 24 VDC supply line. Developed for direct energy distribution in field applications, this device provides optimal protection in modular machine structures.
Thanks to its robust IP67 housing, the TBIF series can be mounted close to sensors and actuators, reducing cable lengths and eliminating the need for traditional control cabinets. Each channel provides load protection up to 4 A, tripping only the affected circuit in case of overload or short circuit, while other channels continue to operate. This selective protection method reduces the risk of all loads in central systems being cut off and increases system uptime.
### TBIF Series Features
- Robust and dust/water-resistant design with IP67 protection class
- Channels providing selective protection up to 4 A
- Adjustable fuse protection from 16 A down to 4 A
- Independent on/off control for each channel
- Remote reset, channel control, and voltage/current monitoring via IO-Link communication
- Real-time status feedback with predictive maintenance support
- Manual or IO-Link supported remote reset options
- M8 and M12 connector options and hybrid versions
### IO-Link Communication and Remote Management
The integrated IO-Link connection offers remote resetting on a channel-by-channel basis, active/passive control, and continuous voltage-current monitoring. These functions enable remote diagnostics, shorten fault detection time, and reduce field interventions. Additionally, when the TBIF is used in stand-alone mode, manual operation can be performed via the reset button on the device.
### Installation and Commissioning
With its compact and durable housing, the TBIF series can be easily integrated into machine frames or production lines. It supports parameter settings, configuration, and diagnostic operations via the TURCK Automation Suite (TAS) platform.
The TBIF series combines selective electronic protection for distributed power distribution, IO-Link-based diagnostics, and IP67 field mounting in modern industrial automation systems.
