📦 Manufacturers' New Assistant: BeRobox Palletizers
BeRobox's new palletizing technologies, introduced at PACK EXPO International 2026 in Chicago, offer solutions to challenges faced by manufacturers such as labor shortages, global tariffs, and safety concerns. The company states that it kept these critical factors at the forefront when designing its products.
🛡️ PALTZ.CS25: Collaborative and Safe Palletizing
BeRobox's new PALTZ.CS25 collaborative palletizer features a zone scanner safety module developed with Sonair. This module continuously monitors the robot's work area, automatically reducing speed when an operator approaches. BeRobox CEO David Demers emphasizes that this system is much more efficient than traditional safety methods, as the robot automatically returns to full speed when the operator leaves the area.
- Speed Monitoring: Thanks to the zone scanner, the robot operates at full speed when the work area is clear.
- Automatic Speed Reduction: The robot's speed automatically decreases when an operator enters the work area.
- Easy Operation: The robot continues to operate autonomously without operator intervention.
💡 Accessible Interface, No Artificial Intelligence
The PALTZ.CS25's programmable interface was designed for ease of use and minimal training. Demers states that the absence of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities in this interface makes the technology more accessible and reduces cybersecurity concerns. Especially today, when manufacturers are targets of ransomware attacks, avoiding risks that could arise from AI use provides a significant advantage.
💰 PALTZ.GO: Affordable Solution for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses
BeRobox also introduced PALTZ.GO, another palletizer developed this year. This model is offered at a more affordable price point than most palletizers, aiming to make palletizing technologies accessible to small and medium-sized companies. Both PALTZ.GO and PALTZ.CS25 share the mission of increasing accessibility with their easy-to-use programming interfaces.
🇺🇸 Manufacturing and Localization in the USA
Demers addressed the impact of tariffs on manufacturers, explaining that BeRobox is in the process of establishing operations in the USA. The company plans to open a factory in Chicago early next year. The goal is for all units sold in the USA to be assembled in Chicago, which will contribute to the local economy and reduce supply chain risks.
