⚙️ Integrated Design and Easy Connection
HIWIN's new APM system offers a magnetically encoded measurement solution. Designed for automatic positioning tasks in industrial environments, this system complements the existing portfolio with deviation-free position detection. The system saves space by being mounted directly inside the axis, reduces physical interfaces, and simplifies design processes. Electrical connection and data transmission occur via a standard BiSS-C interface, enabling direct integration into modern automation environments. Thanks to this system approach, the linear axis, sensor technology, motor, and drive technology transform into a technically coordinated overall solution, significantly reducing integration efforts for plant manufacturers.
🎯 Instant Position Detection and Durability in Harsh Conditions
Unlike incremental systems, the contactless, magnetically encoded sensor technology detects the current position of the linear axis immediately after the system is switched on. Since time-consuming reference runs are completely eliminated, machines become fully operational much faster after downtime. The mechanical design of the APM system ensures reliable and precise detection of position data even in challenging production conditions such as exposure to oil, dirt, strong vibrations, or mechanical shocks.
