💧 Delta Expands VP3000 Series
Delta, a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, has expanded its VP3000 variable frequency drive portfolio by introducing the VP3000-E Series for the EMEA market. These new generation drives are specifically designed for fluid applications.
âš¡ Energy Efficiency and Compact Design
Available in models from 75 kW to 630 kW, the VP3000-E combines energy-efficient motor control, integrated application functions, and flexible harmonic reduction capabilities in a compact platform. Developed as the successor to Delta's CP2000 Series for the European market, this series is ideal for pumps, fans, HVAC, water supply, wastewater treatment, and data center cooling infrastructures.
💡 Key Features and Advantages
- Wide Application Area: Pumps, fans, HVAC, water and wastewater systems, data center cooling infrastructures (chilled water pumps, condenser pumps, cooling towers, air handling units, and compressors).
- Motor Compatibility: Supports induction motors (IM), permanent magnet (PM) motors, and synchronous reluctance motors (SynRM).
- Energy Saving: Automatic Energy Saving (AES) mode, Fan Traction Energy Control (TEC), and multi-pump control provide optimization in variable torque applications.
- Compact and Integrated Design: Slim and lightweight design compliant with European requirements. Chassis concept for easy installation and maintenance in larger models. Integrated C3 EMC filter, PLC, STO SIL3, and enhanced PCB protection as standard.
- Harmonic Reduction: When combined with Delta's APF3000 Active Power Filter, it can support IEEE 519 harmonic distortion requirements below 5%.
- Advanced Monitoring: Built-in component monitoring and diagnostics providing information about key components such as rectifiers, IGBTs, capacitors, and cooling fans. Easy commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance with an optional LCD graphic keypad featuring Bluetooth and USB.
📈 Future Plans
While models from 75 kW to 630 kW are initially offered, additional models from 11 kW to 55 kW are planned for release in 2027. The series also includes the VP3000-EHS high-speed model from 55 kW to 450 kW, featuring output frequencies above 599Hz for turbo blower and magnetic levitation motor applications.
