Endress+Hauser Strengthens Its Presence in France
Endress+Hauser has opened its new campus in Cernay, France. This modern facility is designed to consume approximately 70% less energy compared to the company's previous headquarters and aims to enhance internal collaboration.
Production and Sales Under One Roof
The company, which produces electromagnetic, ultrasonic, and vortex flowmeters, has been manufacturing flowmeters in Cernay since 1991. With the new campus, Endress+Hauser aims to consolidate production, sales, and central functions in a single location.
Endress+Hauser CEO Peter Selders stated, "The new campus provides an optimal environment for closer collaboration between sales, service, and production. It increases our customer proximity, fosters innovation, and supports our long-term growth."
Sustainability at the Forefront
More than 800 employees work at the new facility in Cernay. The company prioritized sustainability in the construction of the new campus; 96% of the total 1,405 tons of materials used were reused or recycled. The facility was built in accordance with France's RE2020 environmental regulations for new buildings. Thanks to geothermal energy, photovoltaic installations, green roofs, and energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, it is expected to consume approximately 70% less energy than the previous headquarters.
Collaboration and Customer Experience
To foster collaboration, the company offers modern workspaces for employees in the sales building. The facilities include a customer experience center, a process training unit for hands-on training, numerous break areas, common areas, and an auditorium.
In June, the company had opened two additional facilities to expand its presence in the US and strengthen collaboration with its regional sales and service representative partners.
