✨ New FZU22 for Lightweight Material Processing​

Zimmermann has introduced its new 5-axis gantry milling machine, the FZU22, designed for processing large structures with lightweight materials. This machine is part of the company's FZP/FZU series, which offers precision and versatility.

⚙️ Two Configurations: P and U Series​

• P (Performance) Series: Requires a foundational embedment for direct bed access.
  
• U (Unibody) Series: Features a self-contained bed that does not require additional foundation.
  

💡 Thermally Symmetrical Design and Energy Efficiency​

Zimmermann machines feature a thermally symmetrical design and an advanced guide configuration. This design eliminates one-sided heating, ensuring superior thermal accuracy, while the reduced moving mass allows the machine to operate with exceptional speed and agility. This makes the machines more dynamic and energy-efficient.

🛠️ Features of the FZU22​

The FZU22 is a 5-axis milling machine capable of processing materials such as aluminum, plastics, wood, and composite materials like carbon fiber. Its overhead gantry design ensures precise machining of models and molds. The 24-tool changer, Siemens or Heidenhain CNC control, and 15 kW spindle support accurate machining of complex contours and deep pockets.

Offering ISO 230-2 accuracy, the FZU22 can be configured with different milling head options to adapt to a wide range of machining applications.

➕ Optional Equipment​

Various optional equipment is available for the FZU22, including a touch probe, tool measuring system, work area cover, extended tool changer, chip conveyor, mist and dust extraction, minimum quantity lubrication, and a vacuum system.
