    Companies operating in the manufacturing sector are under pressure to strengthen their cybersecurity, transition to AI-powered systems, and modernize generally. However, many organizations fail to fully understand the assets, network structures, and operational dependencies that support their production processes.

    Why is an IT-OT Assessment Essential? 🤔​


    Before prioritizing investments, a comprehensive understanding of the current environment is required. Which components are obsolete or nearing end-of-life? Which systems pose the greatest reliability or cybersecurity risk? How are assets interconnected across the facility? The answers to these questions emerge from IT-OT assessments.

    These assessments establish a documented baseline of the operational technology environment, including installed assets, industrial networks, supporting infrastructure, communication pathways, and operational dependencies. This allows manufacturers to prioritize risks, plan capital investments, and prepare for modernization based on the current situation, rather than relying on incomplete records or assumptions.
