    SINTRONES has introduced the IBOX-601-TVI8, a new generation edge AI computer designed for seamless integration with existing analog camera systems. This robust device captures analog signals directly, providing real-time video analysis. It offers significant convenience, especially in areas such as digital supply chain operations, smart transportation, and industrial fleet management.

    AI Power Without Renewing Old Infrastructure!​


    Analog HD cameras are still common in commercial vehicles and industrial environments. Empowering these systems with AI typically required replacing cameras with IP-based models or using external analog-to-IP converters, which introduced latency and complexity. The IBOX-601-TVI8 eliminates these challenges! By directly connecting up to eight TVI/AHD cameras via BNC interfaces, it preserves existing cable infrastructure while routing video streams to the edge AI infrastructure. This enables advanced analytics such as object detection and event recognition.

    High-Performance AI Processing​


    The IBOX-601-TVI8 is powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin series processors. Configurable with either a Jetson Orin NX 16GB or Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module, this system manages multi-camera video analytics and local inference tasks without the need for cloud connectivity. Running on NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 or later, the device offers a robust software framework for deploying machine vision applications. The front panel of the device features connectivity ports such as 2.5GbE, Gigabit Ethernet, CAN FD, serial ports, USB, Digital I/O, and HDMI. Additionally, expansion slots for WWAN, GNSS, and Wi-Fi modules are available.

    Robust Design for Harsh Conditions​


    Mobile surveillance and transportation applications require hardware that can withstand electrical and physical stresses. The fanless chassis is MIL-STD-810H compliant for shock and vibration and operates flawlessly in temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C. To manage unstable power sources in vehicles, it uses a 9 to 60VDC wide-range power input and Smart Power Management. This configuration includes ignition control to synchronize with vehicle states, battery backup support to prevent data loss during power outages, and a 12VDC peripheral power output to power connected accessories.

    Market Differentiation​


    In the industrial edge computing market, while most NVIDIA Jetson Orin-based systems focus on PoE for IP cameras or GMSL interfaces for automotive sensors, the SINTRONES IBOX-601-TVI8 stands out by integrating the analog capture card directly into the Jetson Orin chassis. This native BNC architecture reduces the total equipment footprint and minimizes the latency associated with converting analog video to network streams.
