New Era at HAIMER: Second Generation Takes the Helm!
The HAIMER Group completed a significant generational change as of August 1, 2026. With the company shares transferred to the second generation, siblings Andreas and Kathrin Haimer are now taking over responsibility as Managing Partners. This move ensures the long-term, owner-managed structure of the internationally operating family business for the future.
Founders to Oversee Handover Process
Claudia and Franz Haimer, who founded the company in 1977 and built it into a global player, will remain actively involved in the management team until December 31, 2027. During this period, they will oversee the handover process to ensure a smooth transition. Additionally, as members of the newly established Advisory Board, they will continue to support the company long-term with their experience and network.
Legacy of Values and Technology
Claudia Haimer stated that this step is a very emotional moment for them, saying, "Andreas and Kathrin have been committed to HAIMER for many years and have already successfully taken on responsibility in the management team. This ensures the continuity of our values, technological expertise, and long-term strategy."
The Tool Room of the Future Concept
With the transfer of shares to Andreas and Kathrin Haimer, HAIMER strengthens its position as an independent, owner-managed family business that offers its customers "The Tool Room of the Future." This holistic concept provides solutions to the challenges faced by manufacturing companies, such as cost pressure, skilled labor shortages, and digitalization needs, by enabling greater efficiency, digitalization, and automation.
Focus on Digitalization and Automation
Andreas and Kathrin Haimer will focus on innovations in digitalization, automation, and sustainability while continuing the company's growth trajectory. This means further expanding digital products, networked tool room solutions, and automation cells.
Responsibility Towards People and Employees
Kathrin Haimer emphasized the company's responsibility towards people and employees in the face of challenges in global markets: "As a family business, we bear responsibility for the future of our business, our employees, the training of young people, and our local communities."
Technological Leadership and Strategic Vision
Andreas Haimer added from a technological and strategic perspective: "As a manufacturing company ourselves, we know from our own experience how important stable, productive processes and well-thought-out tool management are. That's why we continuously invest in digitalization and automation."
Long-Term and Sustainable Decisions
Franz Haimer, reflecting on past successes, said, "HAIMER's success is inextricably linked to the commitment of our team worldwide." The company remaining 100% German family-owned allows customers, partners, and employees to continue to rely on long-term, sustainable decision-making processes.
The Tool Room of the Future: Transparent and Data-Driven
With HAIMER's "Tool Room of the Future" solutions, a previously unorganized tool assembly area can be transformed into a transparent, data-driven tool setup and presetting process. This enables production to operate 24/7 at the highest levels of automation.
