    🛠️ Flexibility with Side Panel Expansion​


    DockInfinity offers the ability to increase processing power, network, and storage capacity through modules added to the side panel of box-type PCs. This provides flexibility in applications such as optical inspection, autonomous mobile robots, and smart warehouse equipment, without needing to change the core hardware.

    ⚙️ Technical Details: PCIe 4.0 and Thermal Management​


    Industrial edge computers face increasing workloads with the continuous development of artificial intelligence and machine vision algorithms. DockInfinity transforms compact PCs into multi-slot industrial systems by directly attaching to the side panels of existing Duro Edge chassis. This design facilitates hardware upgrades without requiring a full chassis replacement.

    The platform integrates specialized add-on cards using standard PCIe 4.0 connection interfaces and supports PCIe x1, x4, x8, x16 form factors. For intensive AI tasks, active cooling systems include dedicated ventilation and internal fans to dissipate heat generated by high-power graphics processing units.

    • DockInfinity-2R8: Provides connectivity for a single PCIe 4.0 x16 or dual PCIe 4.0 x8 cards. Ideal for RAID controllers, high-density LAN interfaces, multi-port USB, and HDMI output cards.
    • DockInfinity-R16F: Accommodates a single PCIe 4.0 x16 high-performance graphics accelerator with a dual-slot mechanical footprint and integrated cooling fan. Prevents thermal throttling during intensive parallel processing workloads.
    • DockInfinity-E4X1: Offers a single PCIe 4.0 x4 slot for entry-level edge gateway expansion; suitable for PoE cards, frame grabber cards, and specialized industrial I/O.
    • DockInfinity-2S: A dedicated expansion kit for two SSDs. Equipped with two standard 7-pin SATA connectors and dedicated SATA power interfaces, supporting hardware RAID 0 and RAID 1 modes for data redundancy or accelerated throughput.

    The NDiS B562 industrial system with an Intel Core processor, combined with the DockInfinity-R16F module, performs high-efficiency AI inference and continuous image processing tasks in automated optical inspection setups. The additional PCIe 4.0 x16 throughput and dedicated active cooling maintain the high data transfer rates required for high-resolution frame grabbers and graphics processing units.

    For lightweight edge processing and IoT gateway tasks, the NDiS B340 system pairs with the DockInfinity-E4X1 module. This combination provides the additional connectivity required for autonomous mobile robots and warehouse management equipment, allowing direct interfacing with multi-camera vision sensors, fieldbus networks, and local storage devices.
