    💡 New Generation Flow Measurement Solution from Emerson​


    Emerson has introduced the FLUXUS 631 series, a portable ultrasonic flowmeter platform designed for non-invasive measurement, equipment verification, and condition monitoring in industrial and municipal applications. This innovative series is ideal for situations requiring temporary or verification measurements without any modifications to existing pipelines.

    🛠️ Flow Measurement Without Production Interruption​


    The FLUXUS 631 series has been specifically developed for situations where permanent flowmeters are absent, require verification, or cannot be installed without shutting down production. Portable ultrasonic flowmeters use externally mounted clamp-on sensors to measure flow through the pipe wall. This eliminates the need to cut the pipeline or stop production.

    This system can be used in many areas, including temporary flow measurement, meter verification, equipment performance assessment, leak detection, and condition monitoring. Typical applications include verifying installed flowmeters, assessing pump and compressor performance, identifying energy losses, and monitoring thermal energy systems.

    💧 A Single Platform for Steam, Gas, and Liquids​


    The FLUXUS 631 platform can measure multiple process media with specific models for liquids, gases, saturated steam, superheated steam, and thermal energy applications. According to Emerson, an integrated human-machine interface allows a liquid measurement to be configured in less than five minutes.

    🔋 Long-Term Operation and Durability​


    The device features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides over 25 hours of continuous operation. A low-power mode extends operating time up to 80 days for long-term monitoring applications. The IP65 and IP67 rated transmitter housing ensures reliable use even in harsh industrial environments.

    ⚙️ Advanced Measurement Technology​


    These portable flowmeters combine ultrasonic transit-time measurement technology with advanced signal processing to maintain measurement performance even in installations with disturbed flow profiles or limited straight pipe lengths. Different measurement principles and specialized electronics enable operation in liquids with limited gas or solid content, high-viscosity liquids, low-pressure gases, and steam applications.

    📊 Data Integration and Connectivity​


    The system supports Modbus RTU communication for plant integration, digital outputs, analog current outputs, and USB interfaces for data transfer and configuration.
