Calderys marked a significant milestone with the official inauguration of its next-generation manufacturing facility in Odisha, India. The ceremony, attended by Mohan Charan Majhi and Sampad Chandra Swain, showcased the company's growth strategy in India.
### Facility Status and Production Lines
- The facility successfully commenced operations by activating its first two production lines.
- The acidic monolithic line began commercial production in May 2025, and the basic monolithic line in November 2025.
- Currently, both lines are supplying high-performance refractory solutions to customers across India.
- Additional lines, including acidic and basic brick production lines, steel casting fluids, and tap-hole clay, are being prepared for commissioning in 2026.
Michel Cornelissen, President and CEO of Calderys, stated that this new facility plays a critical role in the company's global growth strategy. He emphasized that India is a strategic market, and the investment reflects the commitment to strengthening local partnerships in the region and expanding the company's market presence.
