The new solution developed in collaboration with Siemens and OnLogic brings Industrial Edge computing to extremely harsh environments, offering zero-touch deployment, integration with legacy systems, and secure AI processing capabilities.

OnLogic's fanless, rugged hardware, combined with Siemens' container-based edge software platform, creates a system resistant to extreme temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 70 °C, vibration, dust, and electromagnetic interference. This solution enables real-time AI, analytics, and control at the data source.

### Features of the Siemens and OnLogic Collaboration
  • OnLogic's rugged hardware provides reliable operation in harsh field conditions.
  • Siemens' Industrial Edge software runs data as containerized applications for instant analysis and unified access.
  • Remote central management and zero-touch deployment are supported with Industrial Edge Management.
  • Integration with customizable I/O options and serial interfaces is provided for legacy equipment.
  • Multi-layered security features such as TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are included in the hardware.
  • Sustainable use is aimed for through energy efficiency and a long product life.

### Industrial Edge Management and Security
  • Siemens Industrial Edge Management (IEM) enables central control of devices and applications.
  • It simplifies remote updates, application deployment, and scaling processes.
  • Hardware-based security modules offer high security standards for critical infrastructures.

### Modernization of Legacy Systems
  • Old factory equipment is connected to modern systems with OnLogic's customizable input/output options.
  • Systems are isolated from control networks without data adaptation, so existing processes are not affected.
  • A flexible hardware architecture, compatible with small embedded systems, can be adapted for different projects.

### Sustainable and Energy-Efficient Design
  • OnLogic hardware reduces environmental impact with low energy consumption.
  • The long lifespan of products supports sustainability by reducing electronic waste.

With the increasing need for industrial edge computing, the partnership between Siemens and OnLogic makes digitalization easier even in challenging conditions. This solution reduces total cost of ownership while enabling data-driven decision-making in previously inaccessible areas.
