HighByte Updates Intelligence Hub Software with AI-Powered AI Agent

HighByte has made version 4.4 of its Intelligence Hub software generally available. This release introduces the Pipeline AI Agent feature, which enables the configuration, understanding, and organization of industrial data flows using a natural language interface. The Pipeline AI Agent in version 4.4 connects with the user's preferred large language model (LLM) to provide a chat-style interaction for pipeline configuration.

The update also expands support for federated architectures with Central Data and internal subscription capabilities, and includes native connectivity support for Databricks Zerobus and an early implementation of the i3X industrial API standard.

HighByte stated that the Central Data feature extends Intelligence Hub’s existing Central Configuration capability, opening up the data planes of remote hubs to a central hub. This allows experienced engineers to move faster and new users to easily perform their initial integrations.

John Harrington, HighByte’s Product Manager, said, "The Pipeline AI Agent makes complex pipeline configuration more accessible to every member of the team. Combined with federated namespace capabilities, organizations will be able to unify distributed data and use it for industrial AI at an enterprise scale."
