Agile Robots aims to enter new growth markets such as consumer electronics, medical technology, and logistics by acquiring thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering's assets in Europe and North America. This acquisition also opens doors for OEM collaborations.

Following the acquisition, thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering will continue its operations under the name Krause Automation within Agile Robots. Thus, Agile Robots' AI-powered automation technology will be combined with Krause Automation's over 75 years of engineering and application experience.

This acquisition particularly focuses on the development and implementation of physical AI. Physical AI aims to create systems that combine artificial intelligence with robotics, not just executing pre-programmed commands, but also perceiving their environment, learning from real industrial data, and adapting in real-time.

Agile Robots CEO and Founder Zhaopeng Chen stated, "This acquisition reflects our desire to harness the full potential of physical AI in global industries. As a result, complete production systems emerge where each element is intelligent, interconnected, and continuously learning.
