    Schaeffler has added its compact and high-performance linear actuators, the EMA-50 and EMA-60 models, to the EWELLIX product range. These updated models are suitable for dynamic loads between one and two tons and offer a wide range of applications alongside other high-performance products like the existing EMA-80 and EMA-100.

    ### Electromechanical Alternative to Hydraulics
    The EMA series was developed by Schaeffler as an energy-efficient, oil-free, and low-maintenance alternative to hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The new EMA-50 and EMA-60 models provide electrification opportunities in sectors such as mobile machinery, construction equipment, plastics processing, and food production.

    ### Compact Design, High Power Density
    The EMA-50 and EMA-60 are designed with very compact dimensions, featuring cross-sections of 50 mm and 65 mm respectively. Despite their small size, they offer high power density, making them ideal for use in confined spaces.

Furthermore, with resolver systems and braking solutions, it can be easily adapted to existing machine architectures. This open architecture allows original equipment manufacturers to adopt electromechanical actuator technologies while maintaining their design freedom.

    ### Scalable Performance and New Applications
    The EMA platform covers a performance range of 1 to 8 tons in dynamic loads. This scalability enables the selection of the correct actuator for specific applications, ensuring cost-effectiveness and performance compatibility. Additionally, Schaeffler is working on geared belt drive options; these innovations offer opportunities for higher linear speeds and new application areas.
