## OPSWAT and Emerson Partner on Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity

OPSWAT and Emerson have signed a global collaboration agreement to strengthen cybersecurity solutions for the critical infrastructure sector. As part of this partnership, OPSWAT's secure and scalable operational technology (OT) patch management features will be integrated into Emerson's Ovation Automation Platform.

### Collaboration and Technological Innovations
Emerson will globally offer OPSWAT's proven cybersecurity technologies to its power and water sector customers. Initially, the Ovation Platform will be secured with OPSWAT's MetaDefender Endpoint and My OPSWAT Central Management On-Premises solutions. This new OT patch management solution will play a significant role in Emerson's cybersecurity suite developed for critical infrastructures.

Robert Yeager, President of Emerson Power and Water Solutions, emphasized that customer needs demand cybersecurity solutions specifically designed for OT. These solutions protect critical, real-time industrial systems while enhancing system uptime, performance, and security. The collaboration with OPSWAT ensures the protection of the Ovation platform through modern and OT-appropriate patch management.

### Increasing Threats to Critical Infrastructure and OPSWAT's Solution
Critical infrastructure operators in areas such as power generation, water, and wastewater facilities face cyber threats, regulatory pressure, and operational risks stemming from a lack of patching. OPSWAT's patch management solution, specifically designed for industrial environments, manages the complexity of both modern and legacy systems while providing protection against advanced threats targeting the energy and water sectors.
