    \n\n## ISA Celebrates Fifth International Automation Professionals Day on April 28\n\nThe International Society of Automation (ISA), the leading professional organization for automation, will celebrate its fifth International Automation Professionals Day on April 28, 2026.\n\nThis digital event honors the achievements of automation experts working in all sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, cybersecurity, supply chain, and critical infrastructure. These professionals ensure the seamless operation of critical industries while improving daily life.\n\nISA invites individuals and students at all career levels to share photos and experiences on social media while at work or in training. This event, where insights on how automation makes the world a better place are shared, offers an opportunity for global participation.\n\n### The Importance of International Automation Professionals Day\n\nThis day is celebrated annually on the same date, in reference to ISA's founding date (April 28, 1945). The pioneers of the organization and their lasting contributions to the industry are commemorated, while the contributions of today's automation professionals to the development of the sector and the improvement of life quality are also recognized.\n\nISA CEO Claire Fallon emphasized that automation experts not only increase life efficiency but also prevent disasters, design life-saving alerts, and protect people in daily life.\n\nISA President Ashley Weckwerth said, \"Automation professionals work 24/7. This celebration is an opportunity to thank the people who make modern life possible.\"\n\n### 2026 Events and Webinar\n\nAs part of the celebrations, a webinar titled \"Future-Ready Automation Professional\" will be held on April 28, 2026, at 4:00 PM (ET 9:00 AM). Speakers from the automation community will share their insights on skills, mindset, and multidisciplinary competencies that will be important in the future.
