    ## ISA Celebrates Fifth International Automation Professionals Day on April 28

The International Society of Automation (ISA), the leading professional organization for automation, will celebrate its fifth International Automation Professionals Day on April 28, 2026.

This digital event honors the achievements of automation experts working in all sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, cybersecurity, supply chain, and critical infrastructure. These professionals ensure the continuous operation of critical industries while also improving daily life.

ISA invites individuals at all career levels and students to share photos and experiences of themselves at work or during their education on social media. This event, where insights on how automation makes the world a better place are shared, offers an opportunity for global participation.

    ### The Significance of International Automation Professionals Day

This day is celebrated annually on the same date in honor of ISA's founding date (April 28, 1945). While commemorating the organization's pioneers and their lasting contributions to the industry, it also recognizes the contributions of today's automation professionals to the development of the sector and the improvement of quality of life.

ISA CEO Claire Fallon emphasized that automation experts not only increase life's efficiency but also prevent disasters, design life-saving alerts, and protect people in their daily lives.

ISA President Ashley Weckwerth stated, "Automation professionals work 24/7. This celebration is an opportunity to thank those who make modern life possible."
