    ## Trener Robotics Offers Pre-Trained Skills to Industrial Robots

Trener Robotics' Acteris platform provides pre-trained Physical AI skills that eliminate rigid procedural coding in industrial robots, allowing users to define robot tasks in their own terms.

    ### Smart and Flexible Robotic Transformation

San Francisco and Trondheim-based Trener Robotics, with its Acteris platform, goes beyond the limitation of robots being used only for repetitive and single-purpose tasks. The platform enables users to give instructions directly in natural language, and these commands are automatically processed and executed. According to CEO Dr. Asad Tirmizi, this technology empowers robots with processing capabilities through real intelligence based on data learned from humans, robots, and industrial process videos.

    ### Investments and Growth

Trener Robotics has completed a Series A funding round valued at $32 million. With the support of existing investor Engine Ventures and new investors IAG Capital Partners, as well as strategic investors Cadence and Geodesic Capital through Nikon's NFocus Fund, the total funding has exceeded $38 million. This capital will be used to train the Acteris platform with new industrial robot processes, expand distribution to new markets, and hire talent to meet rapidly increasing demand.

    ### Key Features of the Acteris Platform

    • Innovative user interface enabling robot control with natural language and intuitive task sequences
    • Ability to recognize and handle parts even in challenging conditions
    • Optimized robot movements that adapt to changing conditions
    • Intelligent collision avoidance and advanced safety features
    • Real-time production performance dashboards

    ### High Potential for Integrators

Trener Robotics offers complete Acteris-based robotic solutions with over 15 solution and integration partners in Europe and the USA. The platform is currently compatible with ABB, Universal Robots, and FANUC, with support for other leading robot brands to follow. The system is designed to enable system integrators and OEMs to quickly and consistently deploy AI-skilled robots in various industrial environments.

    ### The Rise of Flexible Automation

The flexible automation market is growing at 14.3% annually, becoming attractive to manufacturers due to labor shortages, diverse production demands, and increasing operating costs. Trener Robotics' software approach in this area is based on integrating pre-trained AI models instead of traditional coding, making robots smarter.

    ### Awards and Future Outlook

Trener Robotics won the Machine Tools Innovation Award at EMO Hannover and secured first place in the ABB AI Startup Challenge at the end of 2024. The company will host a free webinar with Universal Robots on March 3rd to explain how the Acteris platform simplifies robot operations.
