## Okuma America President Jim King Appointed to Association for Manufacturing Technology Board of Directors

Jim King, President, CEO, and COO of Okuma America Corporation, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT). The appointment was approved at the association's annual business meeting, and King's term will begin on April 8, 2026.

### Role and Responsibilities

As a member of the AMT Board of Directors, Jim King will provide strategic guidance to the association's executive team. AMT represents U.S.-based manufacturing technology builders and distributors, aiming to enhance innovation and competitiveness in the industry.

### Jim King's Career History

King joined Okuma America in 2010 as Senior Vice President of Sales. In 2011, he became President and COO, and in 2024, he was appointed CEO, while also serving as a senior executive at Okuma Corporation in Japan. Previously, he worked in sales, marketing, and channel strategy at Siemens Industry, Nematron, and Source Alliance.com. He began his career at Rockwell Automation and holds a degree in Applied Engineering Sciences from Michigan State University.
