Valmet Boosts Yusen Group's High-Quality Paper Production Capacity with Three New IntelliTissue Machines

Valmet will supply three IntelliTissue 1600 machines for use at Yusen Group's Tai'an and Chongxin facilities, located in China's Liaoning and Gansu provinces.

This order marks Yusen's fourth consecutive order with Valmet, continuing the collaboration after nine successful IntelliTissue machine startups at the Liaoning and Gansu facilities.

### A Step Forward in High-Quality, Energy-Efficient Paper Production

Yusen Group continues to choose Valmet due to the low energy consumption, excellent operational performance, and proven reliability of its existing IntelliTissue lines. Additionally, Valmet's strong local service support and the long-term performance track record of the IntelliTissue platform offer significant advantages for Yusen.

The new investment aims to increase the production capacity of high-quality facial and toilet tissue for the Chinese domestic market. The new lines will support Yusen's growth targets in high-segment tissue products.

The order is included in Valmet’s first-quarter 2026 orders. The value of the order was not disclosed. The new tissue lines are planned to be commissioned in late 2026 and early 2027.
