## IO-Link Support for IP67 CAN Roller Control Device from Turck
Turck has expanded its TBEN-LL-4RMC series of IP67-rated CAN roller motor control devices, used in intralogistics and material handling sectors, with new models featuring integrated IO-Link master ports and 24/48 V support. These products enable decentralized control of up to four CANopen-based drive rollers directly in the field, without the need for control cabinets.
### Decentralized Conveyor Control in IP67 Class
TBEN-LL-4RMC modules offer motor control, digital I/O ports, and IO-Link functionality in a robust housing with a sturdy IP67 protection rating. This allows for local automation of conveyor segments, significantly reducing wiring complexity and panel space requirements.
The control device supports CANopen-based motors from manufacturers such as Interroll, MTA, and MPC. Thanks to multi-protocol Ethernet support, it can be directly integrated into existing industrial networks without hardware changes.
Turck's ARGEE logic development environment enables the implementation of decentralized control strategies without the need for programming. Pre-configured logic blocks allow for quick commissioning of zero pressure accumulation (ZPA) and other conveyor control concepts.
### Smart Field Device Connection with IO-Link Integration
The new models feature integrated IO-Link master ports, enabling direct connection to smart sensors such as signal towers, pressure sensors, and identification devices.
Standard M12 L-coded power connectors ensure compatibility with established field wiring concepts, simplifying system design and supporting modular conveyor expansions.
Thanks to IO-Link integration, the control device can perform parameter settings and diagnostic operations for connected field devices without the need for additional gateways.
### 24 V and 48 V Drive Support
The 24 V and 48 V drive support options respond to the increasing use of 48 V systems in intralogistics and production logistics.
48 V operation allows for smaller cable cross-sections and longer cable lengths compared to 24 V systems. This increases power distribution efficiency while reducing material costs in large conveyor systems.
The module's power architecture supports these transitions while maintaining backward compatibility with existing 24 V infrastructures.
