## Turck's IP67-Rated Conveyor Control Module for MTA Diverter Lines
Turck has expanded its digital conveyor portfolio with the IP67-rated TBEN-LLx-4SLC control module, developed for MTA diverter lines. This module enables distributed control for four lines via industrial Ethernet, without the need for a central control cabinet.
### Distributed Control and Easy Integration
Each channel can individually manage an MTA rotary motor or a multi-axis controller. A single MTA multi-axis controller provides control for up to 12 diverter motors, allowing conveyor segments to be configured scalably.
Mounting the module directly on the conveyor module reduces cabling requirements and offers a more flexible and expandable structure compared to central control systems. This feature provides advantages in applications such as logistics, distribution centers, and airport automation.
### Industrial Ethernet and I/O Features
The TBEN-LLx-4SLC offers multi-protocol Ethernet support, including PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, and Modbus TCP. Parameter settings and diagnostic operations can be configured via the integrated web interface without the need for additional software.
The module features 4 digital inputs and 4 configurable digital inputs/outputs. This allows for direct sensor and actuator connection at the conveyor line level.
Power supply is provided via M12 L-coded connectors, with optional support for up to 48 V for motor power supply.
### Robust Design and On-Site Programming
With its durable and encapsulated housing, offering protection up to IP69K, it provides protection against dust, moisture, and high-pressure cleaning conditions. This durability allows the module to be mounted directly onto the conveyor structure in logistics and intralogistics facilities.
The integrated ARGEE logic enables user-defined control routines to be executed on the module. This reduces the need for high-level PLC programming for specific conveyor control tasks and improves the response time of local operations.
### Product Variants and Safe Daisy Chaining
The TBEN-LLx-4SLC family includes LL and LLH variants with different pin assignments. These variants support safe daisy chaining of multiple modules along conveyor lines, and both are available from stock.
With distributed control, multi-protocol Ethernet support, and a high protection class, the TBEN-LLx-4SLC enables scalable and cabinet-free diverter line integration in modern conveyor systems.
